Eliminate guess-work on the 100-player battlefield. Discover verified firearm ballistics, optimal cash economy loadouts, radio tower terminal codes, vehicle weak spots, and competitive 144+ FPS performance presets.

Quick Tactical Overview

WARDOGS is a 100-player tactical warfare shooter featuring three 33-player factions competing to reach 100 points in the Control Zone. Guns and gear are not locked behind classes; players earn in-match cash to purchase firearms like the Valkyra A-91 ($2,400) and Lonestar Bushmaster ($2,600), body armor plates, and vehicles. Securing 4 digits from 3 to 5 active radio towers allows teams to redirect the high-scoring Hot Zone.

Match Structure & Victory Conditions

Matches in WARDOGS reject typical two-sided skirmishes. Three distinct mercenary factions, each deploying approximately 33 players, land simultaneously on the battlefield. This triangular tension creates unpredictable three-way pincer attacks and dynamic power shifts across every contested radio tower.

The ultimate objective is reaching 100 points in the Control Zone. While standard sector control awards trickle points, holding the illuminated Hot Zone increases point generation by 250%. Because the Hot Zone can be physically relocated using 4-digit codes extracted from radio towers, static camping is actively penalized by the game mechanics.

Victory Threshold

First to 100 Points

No sudden death or infinite overtime. The first faction to accumulate 100 points via tower holding and Hot Zone occupancy wins instantly.

Terminal Code Shift

4 Digits from Towers

Channel tower terminals for 15 seconds to extract digits. Submit the full 4-digit code at the Main Uplink Bunker to pull the Hot Zone to your base.

Frequently Asked Questions: WARDOGS Tactics

What is WARDOGS and how does the match format work?
WARDOGS is a tactical all-out warfare first-person shooter developed by BULKHEAD and published by Team17 in Unreal Engine 5. Each match features 100 players divided across three competing 33-player factions battling in a 3-Team King of the Hill game mode. The first faction to accumulate 100 victory points in the dynamic Control Zone secures the match.
How does the weapon and equipment cash economy operate?
WARDOGS eliminates static character classes. Players earn cash in-match by neutralizing enemies, completing squad revives, capturing communication towers, inputting terminal codes, and securing the Hot Zone. This currency is spent at forward armory terminals to purchase weapons, body armor vests, tactical grenades, and armored vehicles.
What are the best primary weapons for competitive play?
The top S-Tier weapons are the Valkyra A-91 assault rifle ($2,400, 650 RPM, 34 base damage) for versatile close-to-mid range gunfights, and the Lonestar Bushmaster ($2,600, 580 RPM, 38 base damage) for heavy mid-to-long range stopping power. The Valkyra S-12 shotgun ($1,800, 176 burst damage) dominates tight room breaches inside radio tower interiors.
How do teams redirect the high-scoring Hot Zone?
Between 3 and 5 radio towers spawn within the Control Zone. Interacting with an uncaptured tower console for 15 seconds extracts 1 digit of the active 4-digit Control Code. Once your faction secures all 4 digits, entering the code into the Main Uplink Bunker shifts the high-scoring Hot Zone toward your captured tower perimeter.
What are the PC system requirements to achieve 144+ FPS in WARDOGS?
The minimum hardware baseline requires an Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 1070 or RX 5600 XT with 60 GB SSD storage. For stable 144+ FPS, a Ryzen 7 5800X or i7-10700K, 32 GB RAM, and an RTX 3060 12GB or RX 6700 XT running NVIDIA DLSS or AMD FSR on Quality mode with Medium Virtual Shadow Maps is recommended.
